Science Revision

https://scienceforeverybody.com

The start of a revision website for science. GCSE will be my main focus but moving on to A-level and other areas of speciality.

Only a few posts at the moment but will be building over the summer in time for exams next year.

Have a look, can it help you reach your potential?

having done gcses, i can say that this has potential for helping future students! it's got a clear layout, appealing colour scheme and a font that's easy on the eyes. you're making good use of visual aids, and keeping the writing short and clear.

the only clear issue is spelling errors (e.g. 'protiens'), but it's certainly possible to return to that type of editing once you've got the website sorted out.

do keep going, and tell us of any updates when you feel it's necessary

Thanks for such positive feedback, I am a teacher and my biggest problem will always be my spelling. I'll get a friend to proof read :P

Again Thanks

Slow but Steady!

It's been very busy but I am still slowy populating the wensite. A few more topics added and a science blog which will have science updates and anything intersting I may come across in the past past and present.

I have also been working on a text book to compliment each topic as it is finished. Cell Biology has the first 5 sections complete with interative images and questions to check understanding. It will be avlaible as an ebook and on ibooks, with a few special features.

Have a look, comment and share please to allow me to ficus more time on this project with the hope to help all around the country with GCSE science.

Try incorporate video and audio. I find this is the best way to learn.

Hi, I couldn't agree more and this will be part of this project once all the foundations are done.

Thanks

Thank you I appreciate it, I will be trying to regular populate the website book and videos over the Christmas break. Have never been a fan of bitsize as a teacher so it's nice to show students what they actually need to know.
Neat, may I ask why you’ve started this?

I am not a fan of bitesize and other resources out there for students to use and with the increasing demand on the science curriculum I want to help as many as possible achieve their best.Obviously there is also a consideration in regards to employability and the smallest of chances of some sort of income from it but actually I really enjoy the entire process
