1)What degree can i do if I want to become a petroleum engineer
2)Is the industry on a down hill, due to the new electric car era

Sorry for so many questions, but any advice will be much appreciated.
To be honest I have gotten a offer to study civil engineering at Surrey, but I differed my offer and wanted to explore any other options available to me
