Not IBMS accredited Biomedical Science Degree

Hey guys,

I applied for Biomed at the University of Aberdeen and it´s my first choice. Sadly, the degree is not IBMS accredited. After my Bachelors degree I want to move to the US and do my Masters degree and work as a embryologist there or in Germany. Do I need a IBMS accredited Bachelor in this case or is it just necessary if working in the NHS?
hi, sorry for the late reply... if you're still interested I think IBMS accredited biomed degrees are only necessary for people looking to become a biomedical scientist only. i too wish to become an embryologist here in the UK, and as you might already know, you need an 2:1 or higher in your biomed degree to enter the STP (however you usually look better with a masters degree in something related to embryology)
the STP is competitive but id like to find a job in the US too... do you know how the job prospects are there?
