Durham or Edinburgh?
Hi there,
I've received offers from both Durham and Edinburgh (both great unis) but I'm struggling to decide which to go for. I'm doing Japanese studies. Obviously Durham hasn't been doing it very long, and I have no clue what Edinburgh is like for Japanese studies because I haven't been to their offer holder day 😅. Which would be better?

If you want a social life, Edinburgh. Durham is lovely but a very small city and has about 2 clubs.
Depends what you’re after. Durham will give you a very academic experience and is a beautiful city, but so is Edinburgh, so either way you’ll end up somewhere beautiful. I like the collegiate system at Durham, it makes it a good uni experience.
