I haven't forgotten this exists, just saying.
I've just been spending a lot less time on TSR as of recent.
If I'm being completely honest, 51.9% of me wants to leave TSR.

Damn, I'm feeling the same. I think I'm going to permanently leave this site in Jan or Feb.

lmao i am the same rn i barely come on here
This could be my final post on TSR.

TSR is like Love Island - it was once very popular with loads of people all over the UK and around the world but these days people scarcely keep up with it. And for the record I'm even thinking of not watching Love Island in 2024. I'm still mad that Sammy and Jess won of all people in summer 2023, even Molly and Zach were a lesser evil couple. Ella and Tyrique should've won, they were the only adequate couple this summer. Anyway I don't want to get sidetracked into Love Island rambling.

The update is also another thing that has deterred me from continuous long term TSR use. Who's bright idea was it to only be able to look at your 5 most recent notifications unless they go to a whole new webpage and view them all?? Sorry, I always thought updates were supposed to improve services, not make people want to avoid them.

More and more people are joining the current exodus of TSR and soon I will be one of those people. it's unfortunate that the big TSR meetup that we all used to talk about never happened, although I am grateful that I did have the opportunity to meet 1 TSR member in person, which went very well. I would like to keep this user anonymous here and no matter how much I am interrogated and peer pressured to reveal who the mystery TSR member is I won't tell, sorry. And I will be visiting the Lake District (was once the proposed TSR meetup venue) a few times in the coming years, albeit by myself.

I only even look at TSR about once every 2 weeks these days. No one really does blogging anymore (including myself) and when they do I am slow to look and respond. I also don't really partake in the Bear's daily pun games anymore, or even the caption competition, the only remaining aspect of TSR I still keep up with these days.

I still remember in May 2020 when I started prolifically using TSR, I didn't know how temporary or long term my regular use would be. But why may 2020 as a start point? Think about it, at that time it was illegal to do anything but sit in one's room and use computers all day! Maybe my time here was only ever supposed to be temporary. Even my time starting a whole new life in a whole new country was shorter in duration than my time on TSR. And don't get me wrong, when I started making a lot of close trusted friends on TSR I did begin to have thoughts of wanting to be on here forever and socialise with people from here both online and in person in the decades to come. Although not everything works out. I feel a bit bad being like "I used TSR to fill the gap of in person friends and now I'm at uni with loads of people around me so the TSR community can do one" I really hope that's not the given impression here. But being at uni is absolutely a factor in my decision because I do have a lot of assignments. I confess, I did used to complain quite a bit about people not using TSR due to being busy with assignments, however 3 years on I am now in the shoes of these users and they were right all along. Being busy with assignments all the time does consume time that would otherwise be available for things like TSR blogging. I also am working on a public presentation which I am hoping to give in June 2024, which may consume a lot of time in the coming months, I'm not completely sure yet.

Not sure what else to say to be honest, but I hope everyone is doing adequately
What is this new look????? Since when is TSR supposed to be purple???
