What offer did the uni make to YOU?! ESPECIALLY PHYSICISTS

edinburgh has admissions requirements BBB (at A2) for physics, but i am reliably informed they often make offers considerably high than this.
my question is; what was your offer, becuase i need to consider if edinburgh can be a good 'insurance' choice.

Yeah, they nearly ALWAYS make them AAA/AAB unless your some world class athlete/been here 2 years from pakistan and picked up a 2nd language and got those grades.

BBB offer for Politics. Mind you, if you get anything below a B you're very unlikely to let you in, so this is something to consider.

ABB for Maths.

You'll more than likely get a BBB offer unless its stated differently in the prospectus.
Most applicants have grades which are considerably higher than this, yes, but the offers remain at BBB. You're not guarenteed an offer if you're predicted BBB or AAAAAAAA, so don't apply here thinking 'well I'm predicted AAA, so bang brilliant insurance as I will get an offer' as its not like that. If you only want to use Edinburgh as an insurance choice its probably not worth it, as you could easily get accepted at your favourite but not get an offer at Edinburgh.

i got an offer which was conditional on disclosure scotland check so pretty much unconditional (scottish system though so had AAAAA at higher)

english medics get an offer of AAAb
