How do you know which two sides are parallel?D2D83E75-1F27-4712-AE4A-AD57961EA181.jpeg

The naming convention of polygons would be to name the vertices in order, either direction works.
So AB would be parallel to DC (order matters here, please do draw a diagram of the parallelogram); and AD would be parallel to BC.

Is there a way to find them without drawing a diagram? I don’t think I’ll be able to draw 3d vectors. How do I know which order it is?

Parallelograms are just 2D diagrams. You don't really need to draw it in 3D space.
