Student finance and cost of living

Hello!
So currently wondering - is there any way I could ask for more money? My parents can no longer assist me due to the living crisis. I can’t get a part time either due to my mental health (not just a “I’m depressed” this prevents me from doing daily normal activities and recent past jobs it has caused me many problems). DSA doesn’t seem to give financial help but they offered a laptop lol and it doesn’t seem I can claim any bursaries in my area nor benefits. There’s no way on earth I can afford to pay for my medication all the way till the end of term. (I have been budgeting as well) . Could I ask student finance to provide more money? Thank you

How old are you?

You're eligible for free NHS prescriptions up to the day before your 19th birthday if you're a full-time student.

If you're 19 or over (or not a full-time student) you can apply for help with the NHS Low Income Scheme: https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/nhs-low-income-scheme

In any case, you can make use of Prescription Prepayment Certificates (https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/help-nhs-prescription-costs/nhs-prescription-prepayment-certificates-ppcs) which will save you money if you need more than 3 items in 3 months (for the three-month version) or more than 11 items in 12 months (for the twelve-month version).
