My son has cancelled his place and his accommodation. He called and they advised him to email, which he did. He has had no email confirmation that his place has been cancelled and he has had no email confirmation to say he accommodation has been cancelled. Is this normal? It’s difficult to get through to anyone because nobody ever seems to answer the phone and when they do they don’t seem to give a definitive answer.

Did your son book University owned accommodation? If so, he will need to log into the booking portal, and it should say withdrawn if it has been cancelled.
