For the quadratic nth term i got n^2+3n-1
For the vector question i got 1/5(2b+3a)

linear sf was something like 1:3:6 so area sf of each triangle was 1:9:36 - therefore the area of the top triangle was 1, area of the area underneath that was 9-1 (8) and the area of the bottom trapezium was 36 - 9 = 27, so the ratio of areas became 1:8:27
