Find the area under y = 3^x2 from x = 0 to x = 2 using the limit of a sum.

i have tried this question about 5 times and im so lost can someone help me pls and explain how to do it im so confused

What level of knowledge does this question expect? Is this some sort of A level extension question showing how integrals can be estimated by sums, or are you an undergraduate doing limits in a formal way?
