Can /will expected payments change? ( final year full maintenance)

I've applied for my final year of finance and have received a letter with the amounts and expected dates.
However, my maintenance loan/grant has not been reduced as expected for my final year and I actually have been granted the full amount. Can they change this?
Is it only the loan that gets reduced or also the maintenance grant?
(this is with student finance wales, sorry for tagging England but no other option. Looking for people with experience with sfw)
