Does claiming £0 effect entitlement for future years?
Hi,
If I apply for Student Finance but ultimately end up taking £0 of my entitlement but not cancelling my application (e.g to be assessed for, and receive, university bursaries) does this use up one of the four SFE 'years?'

Hi there,
This will count as a year of study, yes, so long as you actually attend the course.
Just to clarify, there isn't a set amount of years that you're entitled to, instead it depends on the length of your current course and your previous study.
