Edexcel A Level Business Paper 3 (9BS0 03) - 14th June 2023 [Exam Chat]

This is what I need and in previous mocks I’ve been getting As and never higher my tecahers are very strict markers and my technique wane there but these went pretty well unfortunately missed out one question on two paper but my other answers especially 20 markers were solid, luckily this is out of 100 so I feel like it’s pretty good if marks are costing you at all

what do you think the grade boundary/percentage will be for an A*?

Obviously each paper is weighted differently but probably an average of 70-75% will be an A*

according to 2019 grade boundaries to get a B you need you need 197/335 so:

60/100 in paper 1
58/100 in paper 2
59/100 in paper 3

according to 2022 grade boundaries to get a B you need 184/335 so :

56/100 in paper 1
54/100 in paper 2
55/100 in paper 3

remember that the numbers for paper 1 & 2 were multiplied by 1.1725 and paper 3 was multiplied by 1.005 to get the total
I hope the grade boundaries are something like 2022 there nicee

the grade boundaries won't be like 2022 because they are meant to return to the 2019 distribution and looking through the 2019 papers they seem similar and just as difficult to the ones we sat

Also for anyone that wants an A* in 2019 you would need
Paper 1: 74/100
Paper 2: 74/100
Paper 3: 73/100

247/335

And for an A
Paper 1: 67/100
Paper 2: 67/100
Paper 3: 67/100

225/335

Or a slight variation of these grades as said above though the first two papers are weighted heavier than paper 3

u should be fine for a B if u didn't miss and questions and have decent technique

Yh that is appreciation u could argue both it just depends really what time scale you used within the extract because at some periods of time the pound appreciated in others it depreciated
