what do people think are the best ways to meet new potential partners ? I am in the process of splitting up with my partner of 8 years and I'm very apprehensive about dating again , but I don't want to become a hermit either ..

Hobbies here you might meet like minded singles, even if you don’t you can still enjoy the activity. Also friends of friends, you can let your mates know you’re on the look out and everyone likes to matchmake. Maybe try reaching out to some potential love interests from the past. Good luck
