Rusty thermos drinkable?
I bought a thermos bottle a few months ago and the outside part you drink from has rust is it safe to drink from this?
Having rust inside of the bottle or near the drinking area will not have any serious health effects. Unless you have a serious iron-related disorder then the worst that will happen is the water will have an unpleasant taste. If you want to be on the safe side I'd get a plastic bottle, but if you do keep this one it isn't a major problem.
