What are the strengths and weaknesses of using mixed methodology in psychology
Ooof A Level and the degree feels ages ago... But between that and personal experiences..

I'd say mixed methods does well to try and cover weaknesses present with doing one method.
MM more likely to be in depth data.. as you could pursue hypotheses from multiple angles or help you find the participants you want to ask..
Could also increase validity if both methods reflect a finding.

However.. it's difficult to get a pool of people to stay within a study anyway.. it might be people are put off by a mixed methods approach. E.g. questionnaire but then don't want to attend a focus group. So there's that.. and it's more consuming to complete the information gathering. And to interpret it... Probably requires some solid expertise from the researcher.

I'd offer more but I'm rusty.. xD
