Any tips on how to remember things you're studying/reading? I can't contain things...

My memory sucks.

I read something, or try to learn something, and within 20 minutes, ive forgotten it.

This makes revising so hard because i struggle with containing information.

How do people do it?

Is there an actual way? Or do some people just comprehend and remember things better than others?
Hello

I find the blurting technique really useful for me. You essentially write down everything you know about a topic and then check that against your notes to see the parts you've missed. I find this most effective when used alongside flashcards

If just reading doesn't work for you, try doing something active, like answering questions using the new knowledge as you go. You'll probably still forget things, but having used the knowledge really does help it start to feel familiar and stick in your head.
