The Student Room Group

Someone smashed their door in

I was with a mate and another random bloke that was with another block

The random person decided to smash this door in making me wait

I wasn't involved but they saw my vehicle however I went later to that person, said sorry and they said it's not my fault

I wasn't involved

Would something happen to me, under duress
legally?
You might need to explain clearer. Like why did you have to wait?

I did apologise to them and on text they're saying not my fault

However he told me to wait as I didn't know his intentions

I never got involved

Did you drive the "random door smasher" away?

No

Its coerced, duress

However I never took part in it and it happened 100 minutes ago
The important thing is to keep all the details vague so we can't assist.

These answers somewhat contradict each other. You either took part or you didn't? duress or otherwise. As said, you aren't really painting a clear picture here so hard for anyone to reply with anything meaningful

I never took part and again the person involved said it's not my fault

"Would something happen to me, under duress".

Hopefully no random stranger who is in the habit of smashing doors will target your doors this year. :crossedf:

However if you have been the designated get away driver and they feel that they are now at high risk of facing criminal charges for their criminal damage based upon your texts, TSR posts or a personal fear that you are the 'mate' most likely to cooperate with the police if they get in touch with you seeking information- you are almost certain to receive an answer to the above question directly from both your 'mate' and the 'random bloke' who smashes doors.

The victim said it wasn't my fault and it happened three hours ago

I don't believe nothing will happen to me

Got to love the double negative...
What kind of door? What was the exact situation and series of events?

It's not clear at all what is going on here. I can't even tell what kind of door was being "smashed", much less how or by whom.

Was it someone's "back doors", for example??? 😳

Yeah I'm still unsure if this is real door or a sex thing

My thinking was more along the lines of "was this a car door or a building door" but that's a valid consideration also... :s-smilie:
I love incoherent schizo posts

Maybe you could rewrite this with a clearer outline of the situation?
