CIMA 2023/2024 - Career changer, MSc Finance and CIMA student

Hi,

I just thought to start a thread for aspiring managements accountants. For context I am a career changer going from STEM to CIMA. I am currently studying for my MSc in finance whiles studying to accomplish CIMA on the side. I technically don't need to study for CIMA cert BA as my Master's will lea me to the Master's Gateway CIMA/Management level. But as job searches are so competitive, I thought completing Cert BA would help me get a first role.

for context, i did have a career as a scientist working for some years along side being a business owner. I don't have a job now as coming out of maternity leave, i went on to study a masters in finance after exposure to finance and business through owning a company.
