Welcome to the Official University of Bath Clearing 2023 Thread!

Clearing is now open to students who are holding their final exam results.

The first step is to visit the clearing page on our website here. Here, you can:

Search for clearing places on Bath courses

Find out about your accommodation options

Check out advice on tuition fees and financial support, including…

Budgeting tips for studying during a cost of living crisis; undergraduate scholarships and bursaries; information on tuition fees

After you’ve visited our website, the best way to get in touch with us will be by telephone through our Clearing lines, where we will have a large team of well-trained, super-friendly and helpful staff and current students to answer your questions and guide you through what can be a very stressful and worrying process.

You can also reach us via email. You may have never experienced clearing before we have. We understand how difficult this experience can be, so if you have questions, need advice, or just want to chat we are here to help you.

Admissions phone number: 01225 383019
Clearing phone number (8.00 Thursday 17th Aug - 17.00 Monday 21 Aug): 01225 976833
Our email: [email protected]

Also on hand are our student ambassadors and staff here on TSR. They can answer your questions, chat, and give any advice they can about life here at the University of Bath; and if they cannot give you the info you need at this stage, they will point you in the right direction. If you need us, we’re here for you all you have to do is shout 😊

We will update our threads ahead of A Level results day in August.

Wishing you the very best over the next few weeks in whatever decisions you choose for yourselves!

From all of us at the University of Bath!

Hi, I was just checking your website and I was a little confused about your clearing system because the complete university guide website says that you have international development on clearing but your website says that for UK students there are currently no clearing courses available

Clearing is up now. Not many choices for home students. Much more for international students.

If the international student vacancies for a course don’t fill up will they give a home student that space even if that course isn’t listed as a clearing course for home students on the website.

I’ve often wondered that. Maybe but the timings might not add up as they may hold out for internationals to apply

No it wont work like that - Internationals are about £££ and even one or two extras makes a big difference to income - and they wont take Home students instead. If its not on the Clearing list for Home students there are no places.

If you are despeate to go to Bath - take a gap year. resit, reapply - Bath has no problem at all with resits.
