How do I show aptitude at problem solving if I have only got bronzes in olympiads?

I am applying for (electrical and electronic) engineering and they want to see that I have an aptitude for problem solving on my personal statement. I have only got bronzes in the olympiads and I am applying for imperial and cambridge so other candidates will likely have golds. What else can I do that shows a strong aptitude for problem solving?
Olympiads don’t demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving.

You demonstrate aptitude for problem solving by explaining a situation where you have approached a problem and come up with a solution. Explaining how you approached the task, how the solution worked out, how you worked with others, what you would do differently, what you enjoyed, what was a challenge etc etc.
