Is the qualification really on the NHS GMTS for health informatics? Does anyone know whether doing this specialism can open up opportunities for a more general management role later in your career? Or will you always be in IT stuff?

I think thats entirely how you choose to proceed with your career and there are always opportunities to showcase leadership that will allow you to apply for other roles in the future

I know 2 of the board members in my trust did the scheme so deffo worth what you can achieve with it!
