I have a crush on my friend.
I've known him for about a year and we're pretty close. Neither of us knows the others friends but we bother know eachothers family. We hang out regularly and to be honest it just makes me so happy to even be with him. I think he might return my feelings but I'm not completely sure he wants a relationship. He complements my appearance often, and occasionally tells me he just can't get me out of his head sometimes. When people make jokes about me dating him I simply tell them to shut up rather than something like "ew never". I don't know how to being this subject up with him without potentially making it awkward between us in the future.
