Turning at a red light
Hi All,
So to put it into context there is are two lanes leading to a red light. The first lane is straight only and the right lane is for turning right . After the solid stopping line there is a box you can go into to wait for a gap. Normally there is a gap in the traffic for me to turn right or a right filter light comes on. However today it went from green red after I went past the solid white line Into the right turning box, I was unsure if I could go or not as there were no pedestrians. A guy opposite me and waiting at the light stated waving at me to go so I did.
Have I broken the law as I believe there is a camera? And my dream job is to be a police officer 😭
