Turning 25 in September but Uni academic year starts october?

So I am turning 25 mid september , and my course starts Oct 2nd. I am going to De Montfort University which lists the academic year starting in October as well, would I be elligbile to be an independent student?

Hi Stefan,

No, you must be 25 or more prior to the first day of the academic year, which is the 1st of September.
