Character/Personal reference advice
My parents are not together and I believe my mothers current boyfriend will be a good reference. The email states that it must not be a family member and I'm unsure if they will class him as one. I have known him less than half a year and he doesn't live with us. He could pass off as a family friend but I wouldn't want us to lie if they asked for specifics.

Is there anyone else you could use as a reference, e.g. a teacher (as this would be a more accurate and formal reference)?
