Applying for course without having studied at A-level

I'm currently looking at Uni courses surrounding Journalism, media and communications. I haven't studied media at a-level- would this be a problem?
My current A-levels are Geography, Sociology and English Lang.
Thanks

Do any of the university courses in which you are interested require A-levels that you're not studying?

If its not a required A level subject for that Uni, then clearly you dont 'need' it.

You will have to write a convincing PS - so you will need to show you have some relevant experience and explain your motivation for wanting to do the course.
Many schools do not offer Media at A level, therefore it isn't a pre-requisite
