CS, Economics degrees

I am currently in year 13 and have been planning to study Economics at Uni for some time, I wanted to go down the route of Econometrics or Risk management. However, I also want to study Computer Science and gain programming skills to use within the Finance sector.
I would really like to study Econ, but i feel the skills in CS are just far more valuable.
I was thinking of studying an Undergraduate course in Economics with the plan of then doing a Masters in CS, but i dont know if this just a waste of an Econ degree. Should i just study either CS or Econ, or is the first option actually a reasonable option?

Also, i know St Andrews offer a Computer Science and Economics degree, but the chance i will receive an offer is so low. Does anyone know any other Cources similar to this at other Unis?
Thanks
