How is life in campus so far

Have you discovered anything new since you joined the campus of your choice in the UK? What is it and why do you think it's new?

Hello,

My name is Haya and I am a final year medical student at UCLan.

Since I have been on campus, I discovered quite a few things.

For most courses, Wednesday afternoon is off for most students to try to get involed in soceities and sports. I find that quite nice because you sort of have protected time, which was new for me because I didn't have that in school.

Before starting uni, I thought that university attire will be more formal, but it is actually quite casual with hoodies and sweatpants as the the main outfits. From watching movies set in UK universities, I thought we would have to wear jumpers and shirts a lot of the time.

There are cafe's everywhere on campus, and they are always filled with people, which is a great opportunity for socialising.
