help on linear transformations! (core pure 1, edexcel, further maths)

the solution bank says the answer is anti-clockwise rotation 225 degrees about (0,0) but would it be fine if i wrote clockwise rotation 135 degrees about (0,0) ??

Should be fine, though is probably more usual to use angles which are anticlockwise from the positive x-axis. You seem to have an image not showing?

im not sure why the picture is not showing up… but it was the question, though it’s fine now i understand! thank you for the help :biggrin:

Anticlockwise is regarded as a positive rotation so that's often used.
