Oxford cares about good writing. "Would Oxford University prefer if I were to do A-Level Law?" would be a better sentence.

Do not do A Level Law. It's a bit of a joke A-level which serves no useful purpose.

PS: I am an Oxford graduate, and a lawyer.

What about a level classics
I’m choosing English lit, classics, history and rs and thinking of applying to Oxbridge

For Law at all top Unis, you do not need ANY specific A level subjects.

You could be doing three sciences, it would still be fine - all they want are three top grades, the subjects are not important.

Classics should be fun, but, as stated above, it's grades that matter rather than subjects.
