Hello Ella, you will have a blast at university! 
In my personal experience, my chosen university were great in terms of communication regarding my accommodation. Well before you start university, they will send you an email with an accommodation option, then a contract that you sign to confirm your place. This meant that I was ready to move in with no issues come September/October.

Hi, i was wondering when i need to apply for accomodation. Im due to start uni sep/oct 2024 but am struggling to find info on this. Do we did it as soon as we get our offers or something else? any info will be greatly appreciated. thank you.
Each university has its own schedule. Check the ones to which you've applied.
