QMUL Vs Exeter

Which university from the two is more respected, better ranked, better job prospects for a maths degree and also generally?
Pretty equivocal.

A lot of people are telling me QMUL is worse for maths and such courses

Exeter's not really better for maths than QMUL...

If you look at the options being offered at QMUL in the third year

https://www.qmul.ac.uk/undergraduate/coursefinder/courses/2024/mathematics/

and those at Exeter

https://www.exeter.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/mathematics/mathsmm/

then I'd say they're fairly comparable, and would probably give the edge to QMUL.

Exeter ask for A*AA and QMUL ask for ABB, but I imagine that's more indicative of the application demographic rather than the course, with more independent school students at Exeter.

I think a much bigger difference is living in East London or Exeter and different people would greatly prefer one rather than the other.
