Leaving university for an apprenticeship... still possible?

Hi, wondering if I could get some advice about my situation,

long story short, I have completed a foundation year and also half way through the first proper year at university. I'm doing computer science, and well, I don't really think it's for me. I only did the foundation year because I messed up my A-levels. I had the chance to resit but declined, and since, I have hugely regretted that decision. The foundation year wasn't great but I pushed through it because I told myself the actual degree course would be better. Turns out, it's not.

Since then, I've been looking at some Level 3 Apprenticeships in IT (so I can further progress onto Level 4, or maybe full-time work), however in some of the job descriptions, it says I must not hold an existing or higher qualification in a similar subject, however I have an A-Level in Computer Science (Grade C). Does this rule out my chances of being able to secure an apprenticeship?

Would appreciate any advice,

Thanks.
