See The Complete University Guide for student satisfaction. But Manchester is harder to get in to for these subjects. Remember Manchester had Alan Turing there and has had more UK Nobel Prize winners than anywhere outside of Oxbridge.(it's either tied with UCL or UCL has 2 more).
