Parked unmarked police car on bridge

What do marked cars do on the motorway bridges?
I was joining the m62 from the m1 in west yorks when the gantry signs were set at 50, but further down the m62 is a bridge where I noticed afterwards a parked black bmw 3 series facing my flow of traffic and just after the bridge the next gantry went to 40mph. Stupidly I travel this road daily and no there’s no fixed cameras, but still I went through the first and 2nd gantry around 62mph, couldn’t really slam on or brake to get to 40 in time too as I was being tailgated but as soon as I could move out of the 3rd lane the car tailgating car sped off. If that copper was doing speed checks he will have caught about 6/7 more motorists right behind me including the Audi tailgating.
I didn’t get pulled and I couldn’t notice if it was in fact a police car but I’m 75% sure it was. Will I probably be looking at a nip or do unmarked police sit on the bridges to check their anpr cams usually?
Bit worried as I’ve already been done speeding in 2021 and got 5 points :/
