Well I'm not entirely sure what career I want, so I'm trying to keep my options open. I'm interested, broadly speaking, in a career in theatre/film. I guess I could always do further training after a drama degree.

If you do a degree in politics, and drama as a sideline, you can get a career in either politics or drama afterwards. If you do a degree in drama, you are unlikely to get a career in politics afterwards. A politics degree with a committed side interest offers more options.
