IBMS Placement Year
I'm a 1st Year Biomedical Science student. I'm looking to apply for an IBMS Placement Year in my second year as my university is accredited and offers help with the application.
What can I do to increase my chance of being accepted?
Should I email my local hospital and enquire about volunteering? They state on their website they offer volunteering opportunities. Or, would there be something more suited I should do.
What sort of departments can you do the IBMS Placement in?
I'm quite interested in working as an Embryologist. Would this be a potential area I could work in through the placement or is it not applicable? If so, would you know of other placements more suitable?
