How many students did you actually ask though? Because every student that I've spoken to has found anatomy to be good. And I have a funny feeling that I've probably come across and spoken to more than you have 
I had work experience at wythenshawe, and went to a&e, radiology, surgery, surgery clinic, orthopaedic surgery, orthopaedic clinic, and the acute medical ward. In each of those areas there were at least two (normally 3) students. I also sat in on a PBL session which has about 8/9 in? So about 25+ students with the same view. However, they only said this when I asked what the bad points of Manchester, I'm sure there are many good sides..
