You apply using www.cao.ie - It's their equivalent of UCAS. There you enter your choices and fill in personal details.

You can still apply I think, and decisions aren't made until June/July, when the Irish have gotten their grades.
Hi, if your filling out your CAO application on line check the CAO handbook very carefully. If your using your GCSE's as basis for assesment then you have to have your form in by the first of febuary as you would be considered a non standard applicant.
The CAO handbook is available on cao.ie.
hope this is helpful
good luck

UCD

UCD- To matriculate on the basis of the GCE/GCSE examinations, an applicant must obtain passes at GCSE (Grade A, B, or C) or A-level in six recognised subjects according to Programme requirements with Grade C or better in two subjects at A-level (AE or BD is regarded as equivalent to two Grade Cs for this purpose). Students presenting subjects through a GCE/GCSE examination programme should check the National University of Ireland website to clarify which A-level subjects are mutually exclusive for matriculation purposes.

The following table lists all UCD undergraduate programmes and the minimum subject requirements for each programme. In the table 'O' refers to GCSE-level and 'A' in the table refers to GCE-level. The indicative point equivalencies of GCE grades with the Irish Leaving Certificate can be found here.

Please note that UCD does not currently accept the following subjects: (i) those listed as Vocational or (ii) those entitled Applied subjects.

DO NOT APPLY to the CAO website 30th/31st January because there's a huge surge then and the website crashes completely. Every year. So get it in before then. Read the handbook very carefully, you have to use genuine order of preference. It's a very fair system, no personal statements..everyone's a number  Don't worry, you can change your courses on your application up until the middle of June, it's just to have the application in with anything on it that you need. There seems to be a common theme as regards UK applicants, in that you need to present a language (French etc.) at at least GCSE level. There's some form you need to send in too (bit hazy about that, your school would know).
