) and I'm good friends with some chavs too... It doesn't justify stupid hand signs to make them look cool!!!

It doesn't bug me that much - it's better than every single photo just being people smiling with their arms by their sides. People just don't know what to do with their hands!
What really annoys me is self-taken photos using a mirror, especially when you can see their phone/camera, aarrrrrgh, use a timer or get someone else to take it for you!

Get over yourself. People do these things for a laugh, not to look cool. If you don't like it then don't browse through pictures of drunk people!

I'd rather see pictures of people having a laugh together than pictures of random scenic views or people just stood there looking awkward as hell.

Most of these poses could be 'in' jokes between friends. 'Its funny that we do gangster poses because we so aren't in the least bit gangster.'
