If you mean the range of values the function could take, then work out the range the trig quantities can take, and add/subtract from the integers.

If you mean something else, please explain what you are trying to do!

the question just asks:

For each of these functions, state the range, state whether the function is even or odd or neither, and sketch the graph of y=f(x).

The ansa for number 1 is 0 - 2

So using my earlier hint, do you see where the 0 and 2 come from?

And do you know what an odd/even function is?

Well for the first one, you should know that the range of f(x) = sinx is [-1,1].
Simple add 1!
[0,2]

Again, you should know the range of f(x) = cosx is [-1,1].
You should be able to work this out yourself.

Use the range I gave you for f(x) = sinx to work out the last one too.
