Left footed so I play better on the left wing, although on the right I could cut inside so I'm not sure to be honest. My best position is left back (on the bench).

:rofl::rofl:

Only inevitable with corrupt, centralised, self-serving powers (politicans) - it defies the free market, it defies peoples choice (demand) at home and makes us spend more, and it defies supply outside Europe, its not inevitable, and it should be reversed. (The BNP condone an increase in trade restrictions btw...)

Farming might well prove to be the way forward as populations rise and the amount of food decreases - if African agricilture was useless why would the EU seek to protect its members from African competition? I don't think its upto you to dictate what they should or should not be buying or selling, let the market dictate it to them.

The money generated from those exports could go into capital reinvestment anyway in Africa, the money would go where it needs to under a free-market model.

Agreed with first point.

Farming might be much cheaper in africa, but manufacturing in Africa would be equally as cheap. The market isn't perfect. I look forward to the day when China will complain at how it's manufacturing jobs are being outsourced to a cheaper location (likely, Africa).

I guess you're right, and farming advancement is an important preindustrial step .

I see a lot of lefties replying, and voting in the poll - but do any of you want to explain why you're leftie? What do you think is good about the left, or indeed is bad about the right?
I am...

Attacking forward. Very versatile though so I can play on both wings. I'm a pacey player with a bag of tricks. A bit like Ronaldo minus the £80,000,000 million. I've also known to be an effective centre back in my time to.

I'm more for social freedom than economic freedom. Freedom of business keeps the rich richer -- you can argue otherwise it doesn't really matter. Everything else has pretty much been said already.

Edit: I took this a while back:

For norway, i'm right wing on both the social and economical aspect. In Britain I'm centrist economically and clear left wing socially as I'm a proponent of enviromental actions, against capital punishment, etc.

The political compass test gives horribly slanted questions: I'd like to see the all-time results published. I estimate at least 80% will be "bottom left", how is that in anyway objective? And if its not objective, how is it useful?

But anyway, I'm socially liberal too (but very very much so, on all issues), so at least we agree in one respect.

I honestly don't remember the questions as it's been so long since I took the quiz. I only posted it because it was mentioned above.

Most Europeans are socially liberal, which isn't the case here in the US. I'm very liberal by American standards.
Apparently i'm almost Gandhi :facepalm2:

I played left wing for the school team, but only because I was the only player who wasn't awful using their left foot
Farmboy_Pip
apparently i have the same political compass as ghandi.

Same here

Clearly a socialist.

Well, I tried to answer like a republican and guess what I got

I think it works pretty well for american politics, but not that well for the rest of the world.

Blood sucking Fascist scum. :colonhash:
