head-neck misalignment

my head is always tilted towards the right and my neck is towards the left. I'm always trying to fix it - in fact, I've been trying to fit it for 2 years by correcting my alignment. But it's not working....

I have a tendency to look at things on my left more than my right. And at night when I sleep, I tend to sleep on my left side. I think all of these things are contributing to my misalignment but I don't know how to fix it. I've tried sleeping on my right or when I sleep on my back I try to face my head on the right. But when I wake up, my neck and head feels sore and I sometimes get headaches.

I also try to practice facing right but I always feel pressure and tension around my neck. I struggle to fully turn my head right, whereas it's really easy to turn my head left. When I do correct my alignment and I look in the mirror, I can see that some muscle is very prominent in my neck?

Do you have any advice on how to correct this? Do you recommend that I see someone about this?

A physio might be a good shout in the first instance.
What has your GP said about it?
