What's stupid got to do with it? Doctors, lawyers or teachers have to study for years, work extremely hard and in what are considered to be very stressful jobs.

A glamour model gets her tits out once a week and gains instant celebrity, a lifestyle of partying and dating sport stars and generally makes more money than many jobs that require a degree.

I wouldn't have said it was stupid, but maybe shallow, perhaps selfish.
Having said that, if I didn't have pushy parents (to be academic) I'd probably try and get into modelling or acting and not do a degree.

I do love the idea of being a doctor and helping/saving people, but I know I could never get over how squeamish I am, so I want to help people with their mental health instead and be a psychologist.

I can only name 2 glamour models, so I think that the majority of the supposed 63% of people who aspire to be a famous glamour model actually are being stupid, if they think that having a few pervy pictures taken will bag them fame and riches. Becoming famous is pretty much luck of the draw, and getting your tits out =/= instant success.

I don't want to be any of those.

It doesn't surprise me that a lot of women would want to be a model over a doctor, teacher, or politician. All of those jobs require immense amounts of dedication and hard work and if you don't truly want it, it's not worth it.

Wanting to be a model won't necessarily mean they'll pursue that path. They require a lot of luck to be one, so most girls will not take the risk and just do their Science/Business/Whatever degree.

Well a lot of glamour modelling does seem quite easy in comparison and a *lot* of money can be made from it. I think females are into the whole glamour thing more than guys anyway :tongue:
