I had the same problem, but at the end chose SA  A friend of mine is staying in SA twin. He said that in Cairncross rooms are very small, in SA twin rooms are very large, but single rooms are very small too.
I hope that Glasgow website is saying the truth about the laundry

Yes, anyway I submitted my accommodation application and my first choice is Wolfson because I want to have a meal at least for the first year of uni. And between SA and Cairncross I chose Cairncross first. But I hope to get Wolfson

Firmed a conditional offer of ABB for History, bit worried as I have no back up and after my first exam, the chance of getting ABB is looking unlikely :P Murano street large flats is my first choice!

Murano large is mine too! can't wait now
Firmed my offer for History and Politics anyone else doing either of these? Also got accomoodation at Murano Halls

When Wolfson Hall says it provides a 'full Scottish Breakfast' is that every morning? Like someone could literally have - say - Haggis and Square Sausage every day of the week for nine months?

I've checked again and it appears to be only for where it's used as a conference venue etc. Well ****.

To be honest I was just intrigued by the possibility. If I really wanted I would get a lovely cooked breakfast from the QM in the morning. And no cleaning fat off pans. Very much a win.

Which is better? Student apartments or Cairncross? Do you know if students apartments have laundry? Because on the website they say yes but a friend of mine who live there said no :-?? a bit confused

Both have laundry, don't worry!

Last year full cooked breakfast was on Wednesday and Saturday/Sunday, but there's something hot every morning- often it would just be sausages and beans or something. Believe me, you would get pretty sick of a full Scottish breakfast every day, and the square sausages are best avoided in Wolfson...

Hey, do you know if Wolfson ensuite means with bathroom and meal? Do I have to apply separately for meal or does this include the meal? thank you

How is it even possible to be the only one who is going to do History at Glasgow this year?
I applied for SA accomodation, but have to meet my offer conditions first. Tomorrow is my first exam (English). Nervous as hell at the moment
