Official A-Level Results Day Discussion 2012! (16/08/2012) MK III

AAA, we was in a room with a woman who teaches masters and a girl asked about if we miss it by a grade, and she said if you firm us, like 70% of the time we will take you, if you insure us you will not be able to get in with lower grades.

Questioning how arbitrary 70% is haha.

Hi! Ive read that! I thought it was pretty good tbh! Loads of people really don't like it but I was hooked and really couldn't put it down :smile:

I read it just before my as resits which wasn't really a great idea :P

I'm currently reading the second game of thrones (clash of kings) and im finding it hard to get into :/ may move on to Harry potter or twilight! (something easy to keep me occupied :smile:

)

Leeds is my first choice too, but apparently they're really not sympathetic if you miss your offer. It's like, no chance.... which is why I'm scared.

I rang my department to ask about it a few months ago, and they said if you missed your offer, you wouldn't be able to handle the course so absolutely not :angry:

then they sent me an automated email a few weeks ago about whether to ring on results day etc, and it was like 'all decisions are final.'

WHERE is listing already? I keep finding blank clearing pages prepped for Thursday.
