Hey everybody,

Was just wondering if anybody knows/ can explain what Quasi-autonomous non-governmental organisations are (QUANGOS) and perhaps what the purpose of them is?

GUANGOs are an organisation which is not directly run by the government although they are funded by the taxpayers, their purpose is to deliver/provide public services, advice and expertise.
