hey, it says in the question at the top part what half cell to use
"uses a half-cell containing V2+ and V3+ ions with another half- cell using VO + and VO2+ ions."
however, remember that in the half cells there is no solid, so a platinum electrode must be used in both half cells. don't forget the salt bridge and the voltmeter either.
in order to write an equation of what is happening, the one with the more positive e0 value is the one that is going to oxidise the other one and the one with the more positive e0 is the one that is going to be reduced itself. remember the balance the charges by balancing the electrons.
